Mature Student Diploma

  Adult students are able to earn a Mature Student Diploma by completing the following requirements:
Four credits at or below the senior 4 level Four credits at the senior 4 level
Some students will already have completed high school credit courses. In many cases, these may be applied to the Mature Student Diploma program One of these must be an ELA (English Language Arts) credit, and one must be either Math or Accounting. Students my choose the two remaining credits according to individual needs and interests

 

Students at the Centre are able to complete courses at their own pace.

Staff is available to assist in the planning of a program of study and the selection of courses.

Students are encouraged to establish a workable study schedule based on individual needs and responsibilities.

Timelines for course completion are flexible.

Students are encouraged to attend the centre as often as possible.

Staff members strive to provide adequate and appropriate support.

Course delivery methods are adapted when necessary to ensure and enhance student learning.
